Wow, what an incredible week of learning we have had in Year 3!
In Literacy, the children have been working hard on understanding informal letter writing. They have used their reflectiveness skills to reflect on our story 'The Village that Vanished' and they have written their very own informal letters as if they were the main character, Abikanile, writing to a friend about what has happened in the village!
The children have worked super hard in their Maths to build their fluency recalling the 2, 3, 4 and 8 times tables using fun games such as kahoot and around the world! They are now looking forward to solving 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication and division.
In Science, the children had lots of fun making magnetic games to consolidate their understanding of magnetic forces and using their research skills in Computing to find out about African countries relating to our book in Literacy!
