Year 3 have had a fantastic week back!
In Maths, they have continued to develop their understanding of adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers and 3 digit and 2 digit numbers. They have used their resourcefulness skills to use number squares to help them with their addition and subtraction when using the column method.
In Literacy, they have been introduced to their new book called 'The King who banned the dark'. They used their prediction skills to infer what the book was going to be about and focused on illustrations within the book to think of questions they want to find out.
On Thursday, the children learned about Bonfire night and why it is celebrated. They then created an amazing piece of bonfire art work!
