Year 3 have had a fantastic start back !
In Maths, they have been developing their understanding of multiplying two digit by one digit numbers. They have used their resourcefulness skills to use dienes and place value counters to aid their column method.
In Literacy, they have been introduced to their new book called 'How to live forever'. They used their prediction skills to infer what the book was going to be about and went on a noun and adjective hunt to aid with their descriptive writing.
The children have been introduced to their new History topic 'Ancient Civilisations' and have used their reciprocity skills to work together to order key events in chronological order.
