Super Scientists in Year 3!

 

In Science this week, the children used their resourcefulness and reciprocity skills to label the parts of a plant.

They began by reactivating their learning from Year 2, recalling any facts and information that they remembered. After this, they worked alongside their partner to construct a plant making sure to choose the appropriate pieces. They used post it notes to label each part of the plant and then finally, the children drew and labelled their own plant in their Science book.

The children were all engaged and focused during their learning and worked hard to complete their task, well done Year 3, your teachers are so proud of you.

Malik - There are 4 parts of the plant - the stem, roots, flower and leaves. 

Oscar  - The roots help the plant grow.

Harry - Plants can live in pots or the ground.
