It's been a fantastic start to the new term in Year 3!
This week, in our Mathematics lessons, we have been focusing on the concept of multiplying by 10. The children have shown great resourcefulness in using related calculations to solve a variety of mathematical problems. Building on this foundation, they then progressed to multiplying a two-digit number by a single-digit number. It has been great to see their growth and understanding in this area.
In Literacy, the children have
been using their prediction skills to anticipate the events in their new class
novel, 'How to Live Forever'. They have displayed thoughtfulness by asking
insightful questions about the possible experiences of the main characters.
Furthermore, the children have delved into the emotions of the characters,
examining them in detail and immersing themselves in their roles through
engaging in role play activities. This exploration of character feelings has
enriched their understanding of the text.
A round of applause for this weeks certificate winners!
