It's been another wonderful week of learning for Year 3.
Here's the story of this week.
In Literacy, we have started our new topic which focuses on performance poetry. This week, the children made their own cinquin poems relating to an animal of their choice. The children chose their own adjectives, nouns and verbs to bring their poems to life before using their knowledge of poetry to write their own poems relating to the theme of Easter.

In Maths, we have been learning about Mass and Capacity and the children have been working hard to solve problems which challenge them to measure in both litres and millilitres. Once this learning was established, the children went on to identify equivalent capacities and volumes.
We had a wonderful VR experience on Tuesday and Year 3 had the opportunity to see some of the Wonders of the World, all from their safety of their seats. It was such a lovely experience for teachers to see the children's reactions to what they were seeing.
