In our recent lessons on Hinduism, the children engaged with
the concepts of Puja and Aarti, delving into their meanings for the Hindu
community. Year 3 actively participated in discussions on the
significance of various objects used in Puja, gaining a deeper understanding of
their importance to Hindus. Additionally, the children investigated the worship
practices of Hindus, exploring the interiors and exteriors of a Mandir and
reflecting on the role of shrines in home worship. This was a valuable
opportunity for the children to gain insights into the rich cultural and
religious practices of Hinduism.
"It was fantastic to learn about the Hindu ritual of Puja," - Dani
