Need Instructions for Slime? Ask Birch Class!

This morning, Birch class marked each other's instructions for making slime. They were looking out for imperative verbs, time adverbials, and a clear method set out in chronological steps.

After highlighting the positives and suggesting points to improve on, we then carried out the method with all the necessary ingredients and things. Got. Messy...

Using flour, water, and food colouring, some partners found that they had to deviate from the set instructions. "Our slime was too watery so we needed more than 1 cup of flour," observed Harry...

This was an exercise in testing our instruction texts and all pairs managed to work together successfully.
Have a good weekend, and we will see you on Monday, ready to sign your reading records!
