Changes to the Year 3 School Day

 

Hello from the Year 3 Team!

We are so excited to welcome the children back on Monday after what feels like forever apart!

There are some changes to our school day to take note of:

Staggered start for Year 3: 8.40am

Children will come in through the gates and head straight to their classroom.

Staggered end of day for Year 3: 3.15pm

Parents must be standing on their child's coloured spot to be able to collect their child.

Red: Elm

Yellow: Cherry 

Blue: Cedar

We do encourage you to wear masks on the playground and to socially distance.

Please do remember to bring in any spelling/homework books and reading books/records.

The reasons for the different start and end time are that we are now introducing our Wellbeing Wednesday in school. This means that Wednesday's end of day will be at the earlier time of 1.05pm 

Same procedure as the normal end of day but at that earlier collection time of 1.05pm

This will ensure we can do a deep clean of the school and that teachers will get planning time as is statutory. 

If you are a working parent we are offering a place at school for that afternoon where your child will complete wellbeing activities with support staff.
