Mother's Day competition!

Young Writers competition.

To celebrate Mother's Day, The Mercury Mall (Romford), would like to invite the children from Broadford Primary School to write poems about their mothers.

Each class, from year 1- year 6, has been given the poetry templates as shown below. This competition is optional but we would love to see a pupil from Broadford Primary School as the winner!

The closing date for the competition in school is Thursday 8th February, as this is the last day before 1/2 term.

Please give your entries to Miss Daly in Ash class.

Key information about the competition-

• There are two age groups: ages 5-7 and ages 8-11​.
• Children must write their information on the back of the form.
• The winners will be given £25 and £25 for their mum.
• All poems will go on Facebook to vote for the People's choice winner.
• The winners will read their poems out at the Merchant Mall, Romford.
• The more entries from school the better as we could win £100 for the school.
