Birch Reflect on their New Science Topic

This afternoon, Year 4 began their new topic of LIGHT! Birch class had to which items were light sources and which were not.

There was some debate about whether a mirror is a light source or not... Ronnie thought it was because it reflected a lot of light, but Charis disagreed, saying that if you put a mirror in a completely dark room, it would have nothing to reflect.

After some discussion, the class agreed that it was not a light source! Some of the groups' work can be seen below.

Bonus Joke: Why was the mirror awarded a certificate in E for Excellence?

Because it was being reflective!
