What a wonderful week we have had in Year 4 as our final week before half term. Ash, Birch and Larch class have progressed brilliantly in our first term and we are so proud of how well they have all settled in.
We are really pleased that they have all consistently remembered their Broadford jobs: turn up to school on time every day, try your best in every lesson and be kind and polite to everyone you meet.
A big well done to all children, and some in particular who went above and beyond in their learning this week!

These children have put in 110% effort this week and really showed us how in the green zone they were with their learning. Thank you for your incredible hard-work.

This week, the children have worked hard on writing their non-chronological reports on the Romans. It was brilliant to see their correct use of report features, rhetorical questions and so many interesting phrases.

Rockstars Champions!
Congratulations to Larch class, the winners of this week's Battle of the Bands for the first time thanks to their excellent team work! This was our tightest battle yet, with Birch and Ash working hard until the final minutes of the tournament. A big well done for your hard work, Birch and Ash.
Ms. Delahunty is so proud of Larch's win, but more importantly, how we all worked together and every single member of our class took part. Everyone participating is the best part of our win and hopefully Larch class will get plenty more wins next term.
An extra special congratulations to our top three contributors in each class: Annabelle, Adrian M, Jessica, Aarna, Iniya, Chidubem, Dhriti, Srinika and Iyinope
and to all of those who levelled up this week.
Well done for putting in that extra effort to be a delightful member of class, to work hard and to bring so much joy to your teacher.
