Mental Health Day 2020 - #helloyellow

After the year that we have been having, lockdown, isolation and our children being away from school for such a long time. There is no better time to get together and start talking about how we are feeling and how we can come together and support each other through difficult times.

Friday 9th October is Mental Health Day and as a school we will be raising money for Young Minds, a charity that works to help children and young people with their mental health. Something that is needed now more than ever.

In exchange for a donation, Children are invited to wear an item of yellow.. Whether it's a scarf, hat, or your favourite bow tie, dig out your yellow clothes and wear them with pride for Mental Health Day.

Across the day children will be taking part in different activities in their bubbles. Children will be inventing their own superhero, learning yellow jokes, using their resilient powers to understand the importance of supporting each other and weather permitting having a dance off in their year group. Look out for positive quotes and inspiring messages shared on the blog throughout the day.

We hope you look forward to the day as much as we do!
