Count on us in Year 3!

The year 3 children have been challenging themselves this afternoon by tackling a range of maths games.

Some children were playing the game 24, where they needed to use all four operations to find different ways of making the number 24.

Other children were completing some mathematical puzzles. Some needed to use their spatial recognition and shape knowledge to make a range of different shapes (Tangram puzzles). Whereas the rest of the children were trying to fit pieces together to make squares and rectangles!

"I love the game 24 because it helps me with my maths!" Kaitlyn, Seqouia.

"Tangrams are quite tricky, but I'm starting to get the hang of it!" Khaira, Sequoia
