Year 3 Explore Information Texts

This week in Year 3, the children have been working hard to investigate the features of information texts and why they are so important.

The Year 3s were able to independently identify all of the features in an information text and further explain their purpose.

"Subheadings make information texts clear so that it is easy for the reader to understand the text". Conner, Sequoia class.

"Subheadings are also important as they tell the reader what that section is going to be about."
