Willow Class Star Writer

This week, Jessica Simpson has produced a phenomenal information text, based on how the Romans changed Britain. Jessica was able to use sub-headings to structure the themes discussed throughout her text (Roman roads, language, towns and religion). She also incorporated some wonderful technical vocabulary, for example in her writing she explained to her audience that the Romans built the A12, the main road used to travel from  Londinium (London) to Camulodunum (Colchester). This week, Jessica is going to try (although difficult) to improve her writing even further, by ensuring she used alternative nouns and a varied range of sentence openers to ensure her audience really are engaged with her information text. Fabulous work Jessica, keep it up!
